MetamedicsVR provides interactive simulation by voice with artificial intelligence, aimed at educational institutions and companies for the practical training of their students or employees.

4. Treatment as Responsible for the Treatment
MetamedicsVR acts as a controller when you interact with us as a visitor, or individual user, for example:

In these cases, we decide how and why we process your data. Your rights as a holder of the data are covered by the General Regulation of Data Protection (RGPD) and other applicable local laws.
5. Treatment as a Manager of the Treatment
When an educational institution, or company you hire our services and authorize us to process data from their students, employees, or users, MetamedicsVR acts as a processor.
The institution is the one who decides what data to collect and for what purpose, and we treat them only under their direction, under a Contract of Charge (art. 28 RGPD).
6. Retention of Data
We keep your data only as long as necessary for each purpose:
- During the term of the contractual relationship
- Until withdrawn your consent (in business communications)
- During the time required by law (tax, accounting or legal)
- 90 days after completion of service or cancellation of the account, except legal obligation or pending dispute
After expiry of the term, it is discarded or anonimizamos the information securely.
7. Security
In MetamedicsVR we take very seriously the security of the data. For this reason, we have implemented organizational and technical measures designed to protect the information against:
- Unauthorized access
- Loss, alteration or destruction
- Improper disclosure
These measures include data encryption, access control by roles, encrypted passwords, firewalls, activity log, backups for specific protocols and security.
Although we use the best reasonable practices to protect the Platform, no system is completely foolproof. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security against all possible threats-external or glitch.

- Hostinger: web hosting and management of the backend.
- Pagemill: management of domains and email services.
- Google Workspace: management of electronic mail and collaborative tools.
- Other e-mail service providers, analytics and CRM, all contracted under standard Contractual Clauses of the EU (SCC) and conditions that ensure an adequate level of data protection.
Whenever possible, the data processing is performed within the European Economic area (EEA). In the cases in which it is necessary to carry out international transfers, we apply the appropriate guarantees in accordance with the General Regulation of Data Protection (RGPD), including the SCC approved by the European Commission.
9. Treatment of Student Information
When we offer our services through an educational institution, we process the data of students solely on behalf of such institution, and in accordance with your authorization, and set out in the contract.
We are committed to complying with:
- General regulation of Data Protection (RGPD) and the European Union
- FERPA – united States (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act)
- COPPA – US (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, if applicable)
- SOPIPA and other state privacy laws education in the U.S.
9.1 Principles applied to the treatment of data of students
- We do not sell personal information of students.
- We do not use their data for advertising or commercial purposes.
- We do not create profiles of students beyond what is necessary for the educational process.
- Only retain the data for the time strictly necessary for the provision of education.
- We offer tools to instructors to visualize activity and academic progress within their assigned group.
10. Information Collected from the Students

10.2 Information collected automatically
- IP address (using technical and safety)
- Browser, language, operating system and type of device
- Logs of activity (interactions, simulations, dates)
10.3 Information is anonymized
The instructors and teachers of the accounts educational themselves will be able to see the data of their students so identified. In the case of Metamedicsvr we apply techniques of anonymization and pseudonimización to analyze patterns of use without link data to an identifiable person.
We are committed to not try to reidentificar information anonymized or share it with any unauthorized third parties.
11. User’s rights
