The Challenge

Gender inequality is still a daily reality. Despite progress, stereotypes dictate who cares, who leads, and who is heard.

0 of EU caregivers are women
0 gender pay gap for same work
0 female leaders asked about children plans

💡 Our Solution: Empathy + Immersion = Action

VR Balance uses VR simulations and workshops to challenge gender norms. We target leaders — from CEOs to students — to spark insight and change.

"You can't change what you don't feel. With VR, we make you feel it."

What do we Offer?

🎯 3 Dynamic Workshops

All based on research, co-creation, and real-world experiences.

Workshop poster: The Care Gap

Workshop 1: Who Cares? The Care Gap

Explore how caregiving roles are unequally distributed and how that reinforces inequality. The result? A persistent care gap that limits women's time, opportunities, and well-being — while reinforcing outdated stereotypes about gender and work.

Workshop poster: Smashing the Ceiling

Workshop 2: Smashing the Ceiling

Understand how career bias, unequal pay, and role expectations shape workplace outcomes. The result? A cycle of economic inequality that limits advancement, undervalues women's contributions, and reinforces systemic barriers to equity.

Workshop poster: Walk in Their Shoes

Workshop 3: Walk in Their Shoes

Step inside 6 real-life scenarios of gender bias using VR technology. The result? A powerful, immersive experience that builds empathy, challenges assumptions, and sparks meaningful change.

Experience What Bias Feels Like

Our custom-built VR simulations are designed in collaboration with MetaMedicsVR and based on lived experiences of working parents, students, and professionals.

  • Being asked at work, as a woman, if you want children.
  • Being denied a promotion because you are pregnant.
  • Expected to do chores after work while your equally employed partner relaxes.
  • A transgender woman facing discrimination in a customer-facing role.
  • A non-binary person grappling with adversity.
  • Other everyday biases that compound over time.

🎧 All simulations are accessible with VR headsets and include guided debriefs.
