The Challenge: Gender inequality is Still a daily reality despite decades of progress, gender stereotypes still dictate who does the care work, who gets promoted, and who is heard.
Across Europe, women remain overburdened at home and underrepresented at the top โ€” and these gaps start with deeply ingrained beliefs.

2 out of 3 caregivers in the EU are women.
Women earn 13% less than men for the same work
2 out of 5 senior female leaders were asked about their plans for having children and what was they “prioritized.”

Our Solution: Empathy + Immersion = Action

VR Balance uses powerful Virtual Reality simulations and engaging workshops to challenge gender norms and transform perspectives.

What do we Offer?

All based on research, co-creation, and real-world experiences.

Workshop 1: Who Cares?The Care Gap

Explore how caregiving roles are unequally distributed and how that reinforces inequality.ย  The result? A persistent care gap that limits womenโ€™s time, opportunities, and well-beingโ€”while reinforcing outdated stereotypes about gender and work.

 

Workshop 2:ย  ย  ย  Smashing the Ceiling

Understand how career bias, unequal pay, and role expectations shape workplace outcomes. The result? A cycle of economic inequality that limits advancement, undervalues womenโ€™s contributions, and reinforces systemic barriers to equity

Workshop 3: Walk in Their Shoes

Step inside 6 real-life scenarios of gender bias using VR technology. The result? A powerful, immersive experience that builds empathy, challenges assumptions, and sparks meaningful change.

Our custom-built VR simulations are designed in collaboration with MetaMedicsVR and based on lived experiences of working parents, students, and professionals.

ย 6 Immersive Scenarios

  • Being asked at work, as a woman, if you want children.
  • Being denied a promotion because you are pregnant.ย 
  • You are expected to do chores after work, while your equally employed partner relaxes.

  • You are a transgender woman who encounters discrimination with her customer-facing role.
  • You are a non-binary who grapples with adversity.
