Our commitment
MetaMedicsVR wants every student, educator and professional to be able to use our training tools, whatever their abilities or the technology they use.
Standard and scope
Our web platforms conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, which includes WCAG 2.1 Level AA:
- MetaMedicsVR AI Platform;
- MetaMedicsVR VR Platform.
Accessibility is built into the standard interface. We do not use overlays, "accessibility modes" or alternative versions of the platforms.
Virtual reality simulations
Immersive virtual reality requires certain visual and motor abilities, so it cannot be fully accessible to everyone. For this reason, the simulations are also available in accessible web versions, so that no learner is left out of the training content.
How we check it
We verify conformance through:
- internal manual and automated testing against WCAG 2.2 AA, as part of our release process;
- feedback and testing from the institutions that use our platforms.
Our Accessibility Conformance Report (VPAT®) is available on request.
Technologies we rely on
HTML, CSS, JavaScript and WAI-ARIA, with current versions of the main browsers and screen readers.
Feedback and support
If you find an accessibility barrier, or need content in an alternative format, contact us at support@metamedicsvr.com. Tell us:
- the page or feature;
- the problem;
- the assistive technology you use, if any.
We aim to reply within 2 business days. Every report is tracked until it is resolved.
Updates
We review this statement whenever our platforms change significantly, and at least once a year.
