The project

Bridging cultures in long-term care

Care Across Cultures supports long-term care employers and immigrant employees in working together with respect, understanding and cultural awareness. Through training, resources and educational content, it bridges the cultural gaps that can make or break a diverse care team — coordinated in Minnesota with community education and workforce-development organizations.

Two sides of the same workplace:

For employees

New Americans

For employers

Tools for managing diverse teams: cultural briefs, supervision guidance and cultural-competency resources.
